Eating clean (hardly any processed foods) and healthy, kick boxing 2x a week, running once or twice a week, mostly vegetarian lifestyle :) I would love to see the number 130 glowing on the scale, but the scale can be bull; I just want to be healthy, fit, toned and happy!
about a 18 pound difference!
Good old fashioned eating well and working out! I still have a long way to go, but If I can do it; you can do it. Never give up!
current weight: 130

Start weight: On the scales, 186lbs, although I started a healthy lifestyle for about a month and then weighed myself, so I may have started around 190lbs.
Current weight: 154lbs
I’m am so so happy with my progress, I feel like I’ve come a long way. I would like to weigh around 135 to finish, so I’m way over half way :) The second picture was after a 14lb loss. I am 5 ft 5.
How I’ve done it: Healthy eating, cutting down portions, gyming lots but not depriving myself of the things I love :) I hope my next photo I am nearly at my goal :D
in august i started eating healthy and making sure that i was working out at least 5 days a week. i’ve tried going on a few different diets, but i realized that depriving yourself from a food doesn’t help you, eating it in moderation does. the most important thing is to make sure you eat all your fruits and veggies, and cut back on your salts and sugars. this picture shows a 6 month difference, and i’m only halfway to my goal. follow me for inspiration!
5’5 BW: 165 CW: 134 (Picture not at highest weight- around 155)
I was bullied because of my weight growing up. So I became anorexic in high school but that made me depressed and suicidal and was worse on my overall health than just being overweight. In college I began binging and my weight shot up to 165. Then one day I saw my weight on the scale and wanted to get healthy. I saw a therapist, I cut back on eating out, increased my fruits and veggies, stopped drinking sweet tea (that has been the most difficult!) and counted my calories the first few months. I am now at a healthy BMI and can still enjoy food :)
Don’t let your past weigh down your future. If you’ve had a past eating problem, seek help. If you need encouragement, there’s so many kind people on here. Especially 50down50more who told me I should share my story. :)
While I regret not making healthier choices in the span of 40-50 something days (binged a lot),I’m glad that even though I made some bad choices, I got some result out of it.
I used to weigh 182 lbs a year and a half ago (not pictured),but in the above picture I weigh the same on the left and right. Did a bit of 30 Day Shred, loads of squats/lunges ,and ate clean 3-4 days/week.
Height : 5’5
Weight : 123-125 lbs

What 70lbs weight loss looks like. I love my body!
GW: 140s (healthy) and happy!
Hi, so my name is Rachel and I’m between 5’5” and 5’6” and I lost over 20 pounds the healthy way. The before photo was taken 2 years ago, at my highest weight, but I didn’t start losing weight until fall 2012. I still have 10 pounds to go before my UGW and hopefully by July I will achieve it.
Also, I want to apologize for the bad quality of the photos. Once I get to my UGW, I will post a better before/after :)
Lastly, check out my blog for how I lost weight and my stats at thehealthycook.tumblr.com
Left: June 2010, 143 lbs
Right: January 2013, 129 lbs
Before: August 2012 / During: March 2013
I changed the way I saw myself and started getting more active. Now I rock climb 3-4 times a week and walk or cycle wherever I can. And I also started drinking a lot more water! I’m feeling good about where I am so far!

I am 5’5” and I don’t think I have lost much in terms of net body weight, but I have just gone from fat to muscle! :)
It’s been a long journey through mental illness, hurdles and many other things. But I am proud at where my body and mental health sit now. I feel fantastic and my PT in the last 3 months has pushed me so hard. I’ve never been more happy with my body.
I’m 5’5 and 18 years old
15 down and getting stronger every day! I’m 5’5, 163 lbs at my highest, and this is after about 3 months of clean eating and (mostly) long-distance running. Recently I’ve started to lift so I’m excited to see what’ll be the outcome of that! You can find me @ runtowardsthestars :)
Face at 212… and now at 157
These are my during and before pictures. I’ve been overweight my entire life, but 3 years ago after coming through some tough personal circumstances, I committed to making a permanent change and finally believed I was worth the effort. Through clean eating, running, and boot camp classes I’ve lost 71 lbs over the past 3 years and I’ve gained a much healthier perspective on life, a much better body image, and I feel like I’m a better example to my son. I’m now at a lower weight than I was at age 13. You can follow my continuing journey to a healthy body and life at http://fat2fitmommy.tumblr.com/.
I am 5ft 5 and started at 236 but was at 224 in December and I am currently 214.
i can’t believe I am actually posting a before and after and I know its only 10lbs but I am very proud of how far I have come.
I have had brilliant days and I have had awful days, But just losing a small amount of weight and treating my body properly has made me gain so much confidence.
As long as I keep trying and keep going I know I will get there.
