Left: october 2012 Right: may 2013 SW: 245 CW: 209 i dont have a weight goal since i just want to reduce my fat % My major loss (30 lbs) was during the first 3 months in february i started lagging on the gym because i switched jobs and my schedule got messed up, i started going back by the end of april again (i work out 4-5 days a week) and all this time ive been trying to eat healthy even though its quite difficult for me, i quit drinking and my social life is pretty much over, i only take protein (about 90 grams a day) and i dont drink anything with stimulants, cut my carbs down and try to rest at least 7 hours a day, it is difficult but looking at this B/A makes me feel really motivated!

I am 5’6” // Highest weight: 235-240
Before photo (on 4-18-12): ~190 // After photos (on 5-12-13): 155
It’s crazy to look at these before photos. I honestly never realized how big I had become. I’d like to lose about 15 more pounds but I’ve been maintaining for about 6 months now! I started eating smarter and working out almost every day. I play volleyball, lift weights, and run/walk.
I’m currently saving up for surgery to remove excess skin from my stomach and a breast lift with augmentation. I go for my second consult appointment in two weeks and will hopefully be scheduling surgery!

Hi! My name is Erikka, I’m 17 years old! I was 156 pounds and decided to get into shape for summer. I started running everyday and making better choices for me. I weight 110 pounds in the second picture and achieved that in about 6-8 months! (I’m only 5 1)
I did a ton of running and biking everyday, pilates, weight lifting and some swimming! My blog is here and I am willing to help anyone with anything weight loss, fitness, or exercising!

On my 19th birthday (8/16/12), I made a goal to be 120 lbs by my 20th birthday. There have been a lot of ups and downs during my journey but I really want to meet this goal. I have 3 more months to lose 6 lbs and I know I’m capable of doing it.
My boyfriend stood by me through everything. He literally loves me through thick and thin. Without his support, I don’t think I would come this far.
What really helped me during my journey was exercising at least 5-6x a week and eating much more healthier. When I first started, I worked out to Jillian Michaels videos (Body Revolution, 30 day shred, Ripped in 30, etc) and to Cassey (Blogilates). These two fitness instructors are my biggest inspirations. Currently, I go to the gym when I can and take group exercise classes (Zumba, Turbo Kick, TRX Circuit, etc.). I hope to start Insanity during the summer, can’t wait :)

Start weight: On the scales, 186lbs, although I started a healthy lifestyle for about a month and then weighed myself, so I may have started around 190lbs.
Current weight: 154lbs
I’m am so so happy with my progress, I feel like I’ve come a long way. I would like to weigh around 135 to finish, so I’m way over half way :) The second picture was after a 14lb loss. I am 5 ft 5.
How I’ve done it: Healthy eating, cutting down portions, gyming lots but not depriving myself of the things I love :) I hope my next photo I am nearly at my goal :D

I started out at 260 and got all the way down to 217. I lost 58 pounds of fat and put on 15 pounds of muscle over the course of about 10 months. This was achieved through a rigorous weight training program at the gym 3 times a week including a 1 mile run before every workout and a 15 minutes abdominal circuit afterwards. Most importantly though I made a complete lifestyle change to my diet. Like everyone I still have my cheat days, but I regularly have my fridge stocked with tons of fresh and frozen veggies and high protein meats, fish, and poultry. Now I continue to do strength training regularly and my diet is no longer considered a “diet” to me; it is now just the way I eat.

Before: 138 lbs After: 107 lbs
It’s pictures like these where I notice how much weight i’ve lost. After about 4 months of hauling my butt to the gym, eating clean, and going on as many runs as possible, I have ended up losing about 30 lbs and am happier than ever. I’m not saying you need to lose weight to be happy, but working at a healthier lifestyle has made me a more confident, happy, and strong-willed person.
Please just don’t give up, although you may not see a change in the mirror, each day you’re making a little bit of progress that one day you’ll all see. Living healthy is a fight that you can win.
