Left: october 2012 Right: may 2013 SW: 245 CW: 209 i dont have a weight goal since i just want to reduce my fat % My major loss (30 lbs) was during the first 3 months in february i started lagging on the gym because i switched jobs and my schedule got messed up, i started going back by the end of april again (i work out 4-5 days a week) and all this time ive been trying to eat healthy even though its quite difficult for me, i quit drinking and my social life is pretty much over, i only take protein (about 90 grams a day) and i dont drink anything with stimulants, cut my carbs down and try to rest at least 7 hours a day, it is difficult but looking at this B/A makes me feel really motivated!

I know it doesn’t seem like much, but I’ve been underweight, skinny, and unpleased by how I look, so beginning of 2013 I’ve decided to change my ways, gain weight, and muscle, and start to appreciate my body.

Follow up set of pics here..the 2 on the left was progress after 3 months my weight was 185…and the pics on the right are progress after 6 months my body and arms continue to take shape and I’ve maintained my weight at about 173 compared to when I started back in the gym of just over 200 lbs !!! I’m keeping at and will continue my journey to be where I wanna be at!!

I was never really concerned about my looks until I realized how big I actually was.

The heaviest I got was 215 lbs and realized that I wasn’t happy with the way I looked. I took control of my life, lost a whole bunch of weight. Most importantly I made healthier decisions for my body. 

Today I would like to report I am in the best shape of my life. My cardio is better, I’m more flexible, and also I feel more powerful and faster than ever before.

Motivation, dedication, and eating clean is what I attribute my fitness and happiness to.

Coming up to just over 6 months of work, ive posted on here before! There is no secret to getting fit, looking good or feeling good, hard work and eating well! It has been such a long and crazy ride that hasn’t ended yet! It took me two years to keep the weight off and I have never been happier. I’m more than glad to share my story and help others on their journey aswell!

This is the difference a year can make. April 1st, 2012 I weighed 367 lbs. On April 1st, 2013 I weighed in at 186lbs. That’s a total loss of 181lbs. I led a strictly low carb diet, and it was the best decision that I have ever made.

I was looking through old pictures and I came across this one photo of me. I would like to say how mind blown I am just looking at that picture, it seriously scares me. However, this also means something. If the most stubborn guy who has the biggest sweet tooth can learn how to eat and exercise, anyone can. It’s a lifestyle change, but it’s a good one!!! Hard work pays off, trust me.

Running has been my greatest strategy to losing weight. I run track and I’m very happy with my results, but i still have a far way to go. You never know how much you improved until you look at pictures and compare. Don’t ever give up.
